I have lived here all my life and never been to Brahmin’s Coffee Bar until this morning. I was very much aware of it and did pass by it many times hoping to grab a plate of Idlis. Unfortunately it was always closed. This morning, a couple of food enthusiasts decided to meet for breakfast at this legendary Bengaluru joint and I finally got the chance to see the place functional.
There isn’t much for me to say about Brahmin’s Coffee Bar that hasn’t been said before. I know they are popular for their Idlis and crispy vada. What I loved the most was the Kesari Bath. With the perfect balance of sugar, saffron and ghee, it was of the right consistency and had me taking home a second serving.
Glad I finally got to visit BCB. I hope the jinx is finally broken!
